Claudio Salvador: AME Srl is a Florence-based Hi-Tech company founded in 1999 by Claudio Salvador and Filippo Bonifacio, who were visionary entrepreneurs. Right from its inception, AME has prioritized safety at work and established it as a specific and well-defined product category. Amesphere – Amesphere is a subscription-based safety service. The platform uses high-quality data and analysis algorithms to provide objective assessments of site-wide risks in real-time. Amesphere offers a range of services, including vehicle and collision avoidance, real-time data collection and processing, objective and qualitative analysis of safety and efficiency, and dedicated reporting tools. The platform provides a snapshot of the state of safety and efficiency of any facility through its Efficiency & Safety Indicator (ESI) feature. The system is formed of three devices interconnected via Bluetooth and is easy to install on any type of operating machine.
It is a cutting-edge platform that offers a comprehensive view of a plant’s safety and operating efficiency. It uses UWB technology to provide real-time positions and movements of vehicles and pedestrians throughout the site, recording proximity to other vehicles and pedestrians, speed and distance of vehicles, and the number of vehicles and pedestrians in an area. The result is a clear dashboard that shows the status of the plant in real-time, providing a single Efficiency Safety Indicator (ESI) to summarize the combined safety and efficiency performance of the plant. This solution is the first in the market to combine both safety and efficiency, enabling plants to operate both safely and quickly. With real-time and historical data, the platform offers a proactive, forward-thinking approach to safety and efficiency, allowing users to optimize their plant’s performance and identify potential hazards.

Claudio Salvador: Advanced Microwave Engineering (AME) offers a solution called AMESPHERE to reduce the risk of accidents in warehouses. It uses state-of-the-art technology and real-time data analysis to monitor safety risks, detect near-misses, and provide objective assessments of site-wide risks. The system includes collision avoidance technology, real-time data collection and processing, and dedicated reporting tools. It uses Local Positioning System (LPS) technology to detect the position of workers relative to vehicles with high accuracy. The system is formed of three devices interconnected via Bluetooth: the AMESPHERE KEY, the AMESPHERE TABLET, and the AMESPHERE TAG. The system continuously collects and analyzes data and presents results on intuitive dashboards. It calculates the level of risk in real-time and responds accordingly. The system also provides an Efficiency & Safety Indicator (ESI) to assess the safety and operational efficiency of the work environment.

Claudio Salvador: Yes, AME providing solutions for all the industrial markets. The systems could be installed on all kind of vehicles and AGV to elevate the safety in the wharehouse area. Clients as Amazon or DB Shenker have already choose our solution.
About Claudio Salvador – President and CEO, Advanced Microwave Engineering (AME)
Claudio Salvador, along with Filippo Bonifacio, is one of the co-founders of AME, which was founded in 1999. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering with a specialisation in microwave antennas, and a PhD from the University of Florence. Claudio has been involved in the design of the microwave RFID identification systems since his time at university and has multiple international patents to his name. He also taught the Antenna and Microwave Theory course at the University of Florence as an Assistant Professor from 1998 to 2005. Safety & Security at the workplace is of special interest and at AME he has been instrumental in developing the EGOpro Safety which allows, through RFID technology, to reduce the risk of accidents in any operating environment.
